About Greentrees Hydroponics
Greentrees Hydroponics started in 1992 in a small shop in Oceanside, California. We ran small ads in gardening magazines and mailed out catalogs. The phone started ringing right away. It was apparently the right time to get into the hydroponics industry.
We quickly grew out of that shop and moved to Vista, California in 1993. Then moved three more times in Vista over 6 years to increase space each time. In 1995 we opened our second retail store in Colorado Springs, Colorado. In 1997 we opened a third store in La Jolla, California and in 1998 we opened the fourth store in Lake Forest, California. Sometime around 2000 is when the hydroponics industry started to expand rapidly and we decided to focus our efforts on internet sales. Here's some more nostalgia for you, it's the Greentrees Catalog from Dec 1993. Check out the Multi Flow on pages 4 and 5. Yes this is real, see the postmark on the last page, Jan 13, 1994. Don't even try ordering using these prices or we will smack you in the forehead.
We currently operate out of a 6000 square foot warehouse in Vista, California.
