The T5 lamps come in two colors, warm and cool. The warm bulbs are 3000 Kelvin and the cool bulbs are 6500 Kelvin. The warm bulbs work well for starting seeds and for flowering plants and the cool bulbs work well for plants with a lot of foliage.
