Hydroponic Systems

We also carry a variety of Hydroponic systems suitable for the hobbyist or commercial grower. You will be able to find ebb and flow systems like the Multiflow, or you may also be interested in some drip systems like the Power Grower, or Water Farm. Regardless of what kind of system you are looking for Greentrees has a system for every application.

AeroFlo Systems

The AeroFlo is a bit more involved to operate than hobby systems like the WaterFarm, but once a grower becomes familiar with the AeroFlo system it is actually very easy to operate, making it an exceptionally practical system for serious growers. Large numbers of plants can be cultivated providing spectacular growth rates and yields. Commercial growers using AeroFlo systems have generated high profits and superior crop quality.

RainForest

The RainForest from General Hydroponics is one of the most effective systems for rooting cuttings and propagating seedlings. The RainForest is designed to maximize the amount of oxygen available to plant roots. The design is simple and brilliant. Plants are suspended within special net pots and surrounded with Grorox. Below is an air-gap which the roots hang into and below the air-gap is the nutrient. A special motorized vaporizer lifts the nutrient up and sprays it within the air-gap. The result is the highest level of oxygen which can be attained within the root zone. Many growers choose to start their plants in RainForest modules and later transplant them into Farm Systems, the best of both worlds.

Growing Media

We stock Hydroton, Grodan Rockwool, Rapid Rooter Plugs, Oasis and Cocotek. The Rockwool can be used in flood trays or in drip systems. Hydroton is used for filling pots. The Rapid Rooters work great for cuttings and the Cocotek can be used as a mix with the Hydroton to add moisture retention.

Hydroponic Nutrient

Flora plant nutrient was designed specifically for use in  hydroponic systems. This is by far the most popular nutrient on the hydroponic market. The Flora nutrient comes in three parts: Bloom, Micro, and Gro. All three of these parts must be mixed together to make a complete hydroponic formula.
