Here is a list of the exhaust blowers we have. The Cubic Foot per Minute (CFM) rating is the most common method of comparing blowers but this can be misleading without also looking at the Static Pressure (SP) of the installation. Static Pressure is a measurement of pressure in a system. The more bends, ridges and reductions in the pipe, the higher the static pressure will be. The CFM rating on blowers is measured at a zero static pressure. This is almost never the case. 1/2 inch of static pressure is more realistic.
Notice how the two small McMillan fans cutoff at less than 1" of SP, actually 0.6 and 0.8 SP is the cutoff point. Also the power consumption of the McMillan fans is much greater, and the CFM per Watt is much less. They are cheap though.
